OpenSim is a project to develop a functioning
virtual worlds server
platform capable of supporting multiple clients
and servers in a
heterogeneous grid structure.

Bygfoot is a small and simple graphical football
(a.k.a. soccer) manager game featuring many
international leagues and cups. You manage a team
from one such league: you form the team, buy and
sell players, get promoted or relegated, and of
course try to be successful.

pydance is a dancing game written in Python, formerly named pyDDR. The
idea is simple. There's a floor mat with arrows, and the game scrolls
arrows up the screen to the beat while playing a song. When the arrows
reach the top of the screen (not sooner and not later), the player
hits the corresponding arrow on the pad, and given that it's hit on
time with the beat, points are scored. Based on how well the dance is
put together, s/he is graded at the end of the song. Both keyboard and
mat play are supported.

PEDSIM is a microscopic pedestrian crowd simulation system. The PEDSIM library allows you to use pedestrian dynamics in your own software. Based on pure C++/STL without additional packages, it runs on virtually every operating system. The PEDSIM Demo Application (Qt) gives you a quick overview of the capabilities, and is a starting point for your own experiments. PEDSIM is suitable for use in crowd simulations (e.g. indoor evacuation simulation, large scale outdoor simulations), where one is interested in output like pedestrian density or evacuation time. The quality of the individual agent's trajectory is high, PEDSIM can be used for creating massive pedestrian crowds in movies. Since libpedsim is easy to use and extend, it is a good starting point for science projects.

Eat the Whistle is a multi-platform, portable 2D soccer
game with many options.

Panzers is a simple little multiplayer 3D game
where the player controls a WW2 tank. The player
controls the tank in a fully 3D environment trying
to blast other players.

CorsixTH is a clone of Theme Hospital. As computers evolve, we risk losing some classic games. Bullfrog's Theme Hospital, published in 1997, is a classic simulation game, but getting it to run natively on modern operating systems is getting progressively harder. CorsixTH aims to reimplement the game engine of Theme Hospital, and to be able to load the original game data files. This means that you will need a purchased copy of Theme Hospital, or a copy of the demo, in order to use CorsixTH. After most of the original engine has been reimplemented, the project will serve as a base from which extensions to the original game can be made.

SimThyr is a continuous simulation program for pituitary-thyroid feedback control. Applications of this program cover research, including development of hypotheses, and education of students in biology and medicine, nurses, and patients.

Tennix is a 2D bird's-eye-view tennis game with single-player and multiplayer modes. Its features include different weather conditions, day/night play at several locations around the Earth and realistic physics, with the option to write your own opponents in Python.

Privateer gives you the freedom to carve your own path in
the Wing Commander universe. Opportunity abounds in the
Gemini Sector. Wedged between the unknown frontier and
the Kilrathi Empire, Gemini is home to various competing
factions with which you can choose to align yourself.
Upgrade your ship or trade it in to deal with the demands of
a Privateer. Find your fortune by logging into the mission
computer, or take your chances with seedy characters in
bars. Meet up with Sandoval in New Detroit, tilt back a glass
with Demetria in a Munchen bar in the Tingerhoff System.
Make your way as a trader, traitor, bounty hunter, or pirate.
Only you can imagine what you might encounter beyond the
frontier.

ACFTools is a utility for manipulating X-Plane
flight simulator aircraft and weapon models
without using its Plane Maker. It can decode
both Apple and Intel ACF/WPN formats into
plain text files with a syntax similar to C,
which can be edited and then re-converted
into binary data. It is able to extract almost
complete 3D models of aircraft (fuselage,
floats, tanks, wings, stabs, propellers,
engines) and write it in AC3D modeler format.
Edited 3D parts can then be merged into plain
text and consequently converted into binary
ACF files.
