xiron is a rapid development framework to build
multimedia frontends for the XINE media playing
library. A xiron-based frontend is entirely
defined by XML and Javascript files, and therefore
only basic programming skills are needed to build
your own frontend. The frontend development is
comparable with creating skins for other media
players, but in addtion to the appearance being
configurable, so is the entire functionality of
the application.
