KPhotoAlbum (formerly known as KimDaBa, KDE Image Database) is a tool for indexing, searching, and viewing images and videos. The indexing is done by telling KPhotoAlbum who is on the images, where the images were taken, and (optionally) adding descriptions. It is highly optimized for easy indexing of images, so that it is possible to use it with thousands of images. It also allows you to browse your images easily, based on the properties (person, location, keywords) you specified when indexing.

Esta versión es capaz de clasificar y mostrar videos. Sub-categorías se muestran ahora como las jerarquías en el navegador y en el diálogo de descripción. En la ventana de descripción, es posible poner un elemento en una sub-categoría, simplemente arrastrándola allí. Hay varias otras características y corrección de errores.

This release is capable of categorizing and showing videos. Sub-categories are now shown as hierarchies in the browser and in the annotation dialog. In the annotation dialog, it is possible to put an item into a sub-category simply by dragging it in there. There are several other new features and bugfixes.
