The C Library is a software library designed to
ease development in the C programming language.
Some of its goals are to improve software
portability and developer productivity. It
provides extensions to some standard header files
as well as missing definitions, defines commonly
needed core data types (such as fixed width
integral types), and other important complex data
types (such as lists, maps, and iterators). The
complex data types are designed for extensibility.
