ZappWM is a small, fast, and complete desktop for Linux/Unix. It unites Fluxbox and ROX-Filer, providing full support for drag and drop and a good customisation environment. It has a low memory footprint, and provides packages for Debian, Mint, Ubuntu, and equivalents.

The GoblinX Micro Edition is the smallest version
of GoblinX and contains only Fluxbox as the window
manager and GTK based applications. This edition
is indicated for those users who like to do fast
tests, know more about Fluxbox, and rebuild the
live CD.

WMNUT is a dockapp program to monitor UPS statistics through the NUT (Network UPS Tools) framework on Linux and other systems.

GmNotify is a full-featured tray applet that
notifies you of new messages from Gmail and
provides an easy mechanism to get to them. It was designed for Linux/Unix to run on Gnome, KDE, and XFCE.

Multi-Cursor Window Manager creates a desktop environment that
allows simultaneous input from multiple users. Users can work
concurrently on different applications or desktop items. Each user gets
a uniquely-colored cursor. It works by time-slicing the single system
cursor. The state of each user's multi-cursor is maintained and restored
just before an XEvent is sent to the system. Up to seven simultaneous
users are supported.

wmMultiPop3 is a WindowMaker dockapp which checks
POP3 servers for new mail. It's based on wmPop3.

The DefCon epplet shows your current Defense Condition (remember WarGames?) based on your current system load. When your machine's load is low, you are at DefCon 5, peace. When your machine's load is high you reach DefCon 1 and the general pipes in.

NeWBIE is a NetBSD live CD geared towards the
desktop user. It includes software for Web
browsing, chatting, multimedia, and document editing.

wmwork provides a monitor on a 64x64 mini window that helps you keeping track of your time. The idea is based on the Worklog program. In contrast to Worklog, wmwork is a graphical application designed to work with the Window Maker dock, but will also work with other window managers.

Wmufo is a dockable application that monitors and controls multiple SETI@Home clients. It can either display statistics on the current SETI workunit or run an animation of various alpha-blended glowing ball UFOs and a spinning saucer flying back and forth across a starfield.

TV in a box is an applet that adds a small TV to your dock or panel. It has most features that normal TV viewing applications have.

GAI Visual Audio displays the spectrum or scope of
the audio that is played by XMMS. It works with
the GNOME panel and most window mangers that
support a dock.

WMM is a dockapp for Window Maker that can replace individual clock and mounter docks by having dual clock/mount functionality built in.

WMtemp displays the CPU temperature and the system
temperature in a dockapp. These temperatures are
obtained through lm_sensors.

wmsystray provides a system tray compatible with
freedesktop.org's System Tray Protocol
specification. Basically, it serves as a system
tray that allows other programs to show icons in
it. For example, if you enable GAIM's System Tray
Icon plugin, wmsystray will display GAIM's systray
icon. Its intended use is as a Window Maker dock
app, though it will run in other window managers
as well.
