GAI Terrain is a dockapp that renders a OpenGL
landscape based upon the music played by XMMS.

wmdctrl is a diald control application which can be used in the windowmaker dock. It displays information about a running diald daemon, including the interface name, state, timeout, size of queue, and TX/RX transfer rate bars. There are also a series of buttons for controlling the connection, including bringing it up, down, and docking as well as a button to launch dctrl for more information. wmdctrl is based loosely on dctrl, and on other windowmaker dockapps.

E-Mbuttons is a small epplet which acts as an
application launcher. It's composed of several
buttons. Each button executes one command
(application or script). Several visual effects
are applied after clicking a button. You can
customize the epplet geometry, the number of
buttons/columns/rows, and allowed effects. It
consumes an insignificant amount of resources.

The JScrollDesktopPane Swing component for Java provides a virtual desktop replete with dynamic scroll bars, dynamic menus, and dynamic button shortcuts. The JScrollDesktopPane class surmounts the limitations of the original JDesktopPane Swing component, offering a solution to the clipping and overlap problems inherit to said component, and mimics the interface of the original JDesktopPane to provide an easy upgrade path. It provides a scrolling MDI desktop, one of the most requested features to the Java JDK.

wmMuzzin computes the time to pray for a specific location, the direction to Mecca and alerts you when you're approaching the prayer time.

wmbatppc is a small battery-monitoring dockapp for Window Maker or Afterstep. It works on G3/G4 Powerbooks and iBooks. It relies directly on pmud (via local port 879), and can be used as a dock app in Window Maker or as a swallowed app in a Gnome panel.

wmmenu is a "dock application" for Windowmaker that provides a button bar to launch applications from. The bar opens automatically when the mouse enters the button. Multiple instances of the program can run at the same time; each one provides a menu that it reads from a separate file, so you can have as many different menus as you want.

smallX is a subset of the X Window System for Linux on Intel machines that will run on a system with as little as 4 megs of ram memory. The hard disk foot print is about 3 megs. This package includes rxvt (a reduced version of xterm) and a small window manager (wm2).

dwemo is an alternative minimal window manager for
X. It has a focus on necessity and functionality.
dwemo uses keyboard control for common tasks and
launching of frequently used applications. Being
minimal in nature, the dwemo binary size should
stay below 30 kB.

bbconf is a GUI configurator for the Blackbox window manager. It's written in
C++ and Qt, and uses plugins for extensibility. bbconf is distributed with 4
plugins, and replaces the previously separate Blackbox/bbkeys configurators
called toolbox and bbkeysconf. The plugins that come with bbconf are: a theme
editor (which replaces toolbox), a keybinding editor modelled after the KDE
keybinding editor (which replaces bbkeysconf), a preferences editor for bbconf
itself, and a Blackbox menu editor. As time permits, more plugins will be
written for bbconf that will allow configuration of all aspects of Blackbox
sessions, including Blackbox's rc-file, bbpager, etc.

WMCPULoad is a program to monitor CPU usage. It is a dockapp that is supported by X window managers such as Window Maker, AfterStep, BlackBox, and Enlightenment. It dispalys the current usage, expressed as a percentile and a chart, and has an LCD look-alike user interface. The back light may be turned on/off by clicking the mouse button over the application. If the CPU usage hits a certain threshold, an alarm-mode will alert you by turning the back light on.

gsheepdict is a GTK GUI for an online Czech-English dictionary written with the Python GTK library.

Zeta Desktop Environment (ZDE) is an X11 window
manager and tools with enhanced usability and
features for advanced users and developers. Some
of its current sub-projects include imp, a library
of core functions such as linked lists, zwl, a
simple widget toolkit and light X11 wrapper, and
zimwm, the window manager.

E-Forecast is an epplet that shows an icon with the weather forecast for the city of your choice and automatically updates with a user selectable frequency.
