All TOMOYO 1.8.3 binary rpm/deb are ready.
Also, TOMOYO 1.8.3 binary deb for Ubuntu 11.10 (generic-pae flavour) is ready.



I forgot to update version string in /proc/ccs/version in
ccs-patch-1.8.3-20110929.tar.gz and akari-1.0.20-20110929.tar.gz .
/proc/ccs/version prints 1.8.3-pre rather than 1.8.3 . You can do

  sed -i -e 's/1\.8\.3-pre/1.8.3/' security/ccsecurity/policy_io.c

before compiling the kernel, though this error does not affect functionality.



I think Linux 3.1 will be released shortly. Please apply bugfix patches at
http://tomoyo.sourceforge.jp/2.4/patches/ before compiling TOMOYO 2.4 .
You can backport TOMOYO 2.5 if you are using Linux 2.6.33 and later.
TOMOYO 2.5 patches are available at http://tomoyo.sourceforge.jp/2.5/patches/ .
